Document Requirements
1. What does Reeds Edu Consultant do?
Reeds Edu Consultant helps students apply for fully funded, partial, and CSC (Chinese Government) scholarships to study in China. We provide complete support from program selection and document preparation to application submission and pre-departure guidance.
2. What types of scholarships can I apply for?
We offer three main types of scholarships:
•🎓 Fully Funded Scholarships: Cover tuition fees, accommodation, and monthly living allowance.
•🧾 Partial Scholarships: Cover tuition only or tuition plus accommodation.
•🏅 CSC Scholarships (Chinese Government Scholarships): Offered by the Chinese government for international students pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programs.
3. Who is eligible to apply?
Eligibility depends on the level of study:
• Bachelor’s applicants: Must be under 25 years old and hold a high school diploma.
• Master’s applicants: Must be under 35 years old and hold a bachelor’s degree.
• PhD applicants: Must be under 40 years old and hold a master’s degree. All applicants should be in good health, have a strong academic record, and possess a clear study goal.
4. When should I start my application?
Applications open every year between November and March for programs starting in September. However, we accept applications year-round, as some universities have rolling admissions.
5. What documents are required?
Applicants should prepare the following:
1. Passport (data page)
2. Academic transcripts
3. Graduation or degree certificate
4. English proficiency certificate (if available)
5. Passport-size photo
6. Personal statement or study plan (for Master’s and PhD programs)
6. Can I apply without an IELTS or TOEFL certificate?
Yes. Many universities in China accept students without IELTS or TOEFL, especially if your previous studies were in English. We’ll help you find the right programs based on your background.
7. Is there a service or processing fee?
Yes, a small processing fee applies to cover administrative support, document preparation, and coordination with universities. All fees are explained clearly before you submit your application — no hidden costs.
1. Application Fee – $156 USD This fee is paid in advance when submitting your application to Reeds Edu Consultant. It covers:
• Initial application processing
• Official submission of your file to partner universities
• Communication and coordination with educational institutions
2. Processing Fee – $400 USD This fee is paid only after you receive your pre-admission letter from the chosen university or institution. It covers:
• Verification and validation of your pre-admission
• Administrative coordination between Reeds Edu Consultant and the university
3. Service Fee – $480 USD This fee is due after the official admission is confirmed. It covers:
• Issuance of the JW202 form (required for the student visa application)
• Pre-departure guidance and support
• Accommodation assistance
• Travel planning and airport pickup
• Academic and orientation advice
• Support during registration and settling at the university in China
8. What happens after I’m accepted?
Once accepted, we’ll help you:
• Receive your admission letter
• Receive your JW202 form
• Apply for a student visa (X1 or X2)
• Get pre-departure guidance and travel advice
• Arrange airport pickup or orientation
